Had a look at our record against them .... have only played them 29 times since 1908 mainly in the Southern League the war time competition & assorted League cup & Essex Professional cup games.
One FA Cup tie & those two league games in 1992/3
They seem to have been on the verge of going out of business for a while so slightly surprised they are still operating.
Maybe the insurance money will keep them going. How fortunate.

Played there in the '70s against their Reserves, ( and I didn't set the place alight!)
Nothing looks any different!
Thought they were going to move about 10 years back; they might now but probably to a park pitch!
Do believe that for a few years Brian Dear ran the Shrimpers Club at the ground.
